still the issue remains.
as i got a reply describing one possibility;
that is also true, and i checked that.

but still i dont know how to fetch the correct client id.
while rendering in HTML generates a client id.
the same is not accessible using this.id or this.Client ID
while calling from a javascript function.

some example can be useful.

Can you be more specific on your issue? Correct way to get the client-side
id for scripting is to take it from ClientId property. But when / where are
you accessing it and in what scenario?
