Hi
It sounds like you are logging onto the server with the service account. At
a guess this is administrator, you may want to change it to a dedicated
domain account. I am not sure why you should want to make any modifications
to outlook once you do have it working! But you may want to use deligation
for the mailbox an access it from a separate account. Are you opening a PST
file? Which version of outlook is this?
You may want to look at:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnovba01/html/SQLServerE-mail.asp
http://www.aspfaq.com/show.asp?id=2403 Q6 on
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315886 talks about email getting stuck
in the outbox, but I don't think that it is your problem.
