A Book on SQL-NS for developers

A Book on SQL-NS for developers Shyam Pather [MS]

sql server notification services: Hello all,
I want to let everyone know about my upcoming book on SQL Notification
Services. The book is published by SAMS and is a developers guide to
building applications with SQL-NS. It covers all aspects of notification
application development, including design, authoring of the ADF/config
files, and building custom event providers, content formatters, and
distributors. The book also has chapters on debugging, deployment,
administration, and troubleshooting of SQL-NS applications.

The book won't be available until early September (it's in the final stages
of the publishing process now), but it's already available for pre-order. If
you'd like to pre-order, you can do so at:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0672326647/002-7589658-0387255.

Thanks!
Shyam Pather

Very cool, Shyam. Considering the source, that book already has a place
reserved on my bookshelf. ;-) Ken Henderson has a chapter on SQL-NS in his
latest book, and we also have a chapter on our "First Look at SQL Server
2005 for Developers" book, but an entire book on SQL-NS by "the
source"...fantastic. Congratulations.

Fantastic Shyam!

I'm actually presenting a session on SQLNS at the PASS Community Summit
in Orlando in September. If you're going to be there, perhaps we can get
together over lunch one day and talk. My email address is
joew@webbtechsolutions.com.

Thanks!
Joe Webb
