sql server notification services:
Good Morning,

I am new to SQL Server 2000. I am trying to use the job scheduling
feature of the sql server. I did schedule the jobs with notification
feature of it. It successfully sent e-mails also. The e-mails it sent
are of the following format:

JOB RUN: 'TSQL_Job_1' was run on 4/14/2005 at 9:30:00 AM
DURATION: 0 hours, 0 minutes, 1 seconds
STATUS: Succeeded
MESSAGES: The job succeeded. The Job was invoked by Schedule 3
(Schedule 1). The last step to run was step 1 (Step 1).

Is there a way to customize this information? I wanted to run the sql
scripts and attache the data from the database table as a part of the
outgoing mail.

Thanks,

Probably another newsgroup would produce more comments since this one is
dedicated to Notification Services, the bolt-on to SQL Server 2000. Try
microsoft.public.sqlserver.programming.

BTW - I really like the SQL Server SMTP Mail XP from
http://www.SqlDev.net for sending email from SQL Server.

HTH...
