sql server notification services:

Dont know whether this is the right group for the post.

I wanted to know if Oracle provides any notification framework similar
to SQL Server 2005 Notification Services. Also if anybody knows about
any other notification frameworks, plz let me know.

I don't know about other frameworks, but you can have Oracle, et al,
provide event data to SQLNS.

Thanks Joe.
You are right, we can have Oracle database provide event data to SQLNS
by writing a custom event provider.
But I wanted to know if Oracle itself provides anything parallel to SQL
Notification Services.
