You're looking for normal SQL Alerts sent to Operators. SQL
Notification Services is to notify subscribers of business/applicaiton
events, such as a stock price rising above $X.
I would try the microsoft.public.sqlserver.server group. But i think
you're looking for Alerts, Operators, etc. You just need to find the
right alert. Maybe alert severity 017 - "Insufficient Resources". But
try the other group - they'll answer your question pretty quickly.
