Hi everybody, I am looking for an old version of the ODBC
driver (like 2.65) that would work with windows XP
Professional. The 2.65 installer crashes when running it
under XP.

Windows XP includes newer MDAC drivers. You cannot overwrite these with
older drivers. Backward compatability is a paramount goal in newer releases
so there should be no problems in using the newer drivers included in
Windows.
