sql server odbc: I had to make some changes to SQL Server tables; not knowing about the Linked
Table Manager, which I guess I should have used to refresh the connection, I
instead deleted the connection to the table then re-established it. The
minor annoyance here is that any time I query against the table, I am
prompted with the SQL Server login. Is there a way to fix this?

If the Save Password check box is not available, you would
want to refer to the following KB article:
"Save Password" check box is unavailable when you link ODBC
tables
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=207823
There is a link at the beginning of the article to an Access
97 version of the article as well.

The save password check box was the piece I was missing. I now no longer
need to enter the SQL Server login password.

Thank you Sue!
