sql server odbc: Hi all,

I have 2 PC. One of them install SQL Server2000 and the other one acts as
client. Currently, these 2 PC have connected to company network and I can
connect from client PC to server via ODBC.

One day, I connected 2 PC via cross-cable. Then I cannot connect to the
server anymore. I can copy files between 2 PC. Can someone suggest why it
fails?

Hi:
When connected 2 PC via cross-cable, the Net enviroment is changed.
So could you please check "Server Network Utility" to verify if you
change the setting at the same time.
It is the first step to get the information but may resolves the
problem.
