Any Help??

Error occurs while connecting thru QE or trying to
register in EM

Server: Msg 17, Level 16, State 1 [Microsoft][ODBC SQL
Server Driver][Named Pipes]SQL Server does not exist or

Probably the two most likely possibilities:

1) The SQL Server service is not up and running, or

2) You are trying to connect using via (what used to be called) SQL Server
Authentication ... i.e., via a SQL Server logon and password (possibly the
SA account) ... but the SQL Server instance only accepts Windows
Authentication (which is the default for a new installation of SQL Server).
