If this is an ODBC error, generally you get a longer message
with this error that will explain that the error is related
to deadlocks. In this case, you can find more information in
books online under the topic: Troubleshooting Deadlocks.

actually the error i'm getting is:

'Deadlocked on lock resource with another resource re-run
transaction.
