Hi All,
I am using SQL Server 2005 Developer Edition, the application is used
ODBC to communicate with database, everything is OK in the beginning, but
when the application running and data is filled into the tables, the size of
the database increase, and now the size is about 11M, the speed change to
very slow suddenly.
I have checked the ODBC tracing is off, the autoclose of the database is
off.
How to solve this problem? Thank you very much.

Hi SL,

11 M size of what? 11 MB database? 11 M rows in some table?
Speed of what is slow? All connections? All queries?
Slow in terms of what - how long before the users see
results or the total execution time of a stored procedure?
Did you monitoring locking, blocking?
There just isn't enough information here for anyone to give
you some sound suggestions. Running slow just doesn't say
much - could you give some more specific information to we
can help you out?
