When multiple users use the same PC, the System DSN (ODBC Data Source)

Hello,

I would like to know some detailed information.

1. Have you tried this in the User DSN?

2. What do you mean by the Login ID input box? Per my test, if you use the
NT Authentication, you could not input the Login ID.

3. What's the driver did you use?

Sincerely,

Wei Lu

We haven't tried this in User DSN because it would be impractical. We are
using the System DSN because we are migrating to Terminal Server / Citrix
environment and we need the ODBC driver to be accessible to all users.

Correct. However -- grayed out -- is the name of a user, specifically the
last 'domain' user who logged onto the PC or Terminal Server. That username
is being picked up in reports generated by our MIS system

Hello,

The Login ID box will get the current login domain name.

I would like to know why your MIS system need to get this information.
