microsoft offers new updatable version of MSDTC
not by the windows service pack or sql server service pack

Hi

On Windows 2000 and later, MSDTC is the responsibility of the OS and will be
updated with OS Service Packs.
If you need a hotfix for DTC, call Microsoft PSS in your area.
