Does anyone here read the magazine "SQL Server Professional" by Pinnacle? I
got a sample copy and it seems really informative and well written. It's
expensive though, but if the whole subscription is as good as the trial
copy, I think it would be worth it.

What do developers think? Is it worth it?

Hi Tim,

Crossposting is posting one single copy of a post to multiple groups.
This is done by entering more than one group in the group list. Most
usenet access software uses comma's or semicolons to seperate the group
names. The advantage of crossposting is that replies also go to all
groups in the list (unless someone manually edits the newsgroup list
before sending the reply). Crossposting is, under some circumstances,
considered good usenet practice - but keep the group selection limited
to two or at most three groups and use it only if the post really fits
all the groups.

You, howver, did not crosspost. You multiposted. This means that replies
already sent to you in .newusers are not visible here. The risk is that
someone spends time to write a reply to you, unaware that all he or she
werites is already posted by someone else in .newusers. What a waste of
time!

In the future, please post to a single group only. And if you feel you
really MUST crosspost, do it proper.
