sql server programming: I have a number of dts packages that were developed on a test server
and I need to move to the live server to execute. They all reference
the server in the connection string as (local). I get "access denied"
errors when trying to run on the live server. I have to change (local)
to the actual server name to get them to run. I don't want to edit 30
dts packages to change the server name. What must be done to the live
server to allow (local) as a valid server name in the connection
string?
