SQL2005 ANSI compliant? -- sql server programming

sql server programming : SQL2005 ANSI compliant?

Hi,

I haven't started using SQL2005 yet but by the look of some answers here
it's quite different to the old TSQL. Is it ANSI compliant? Will the same
script work in other Databases? Just wondering.

If you careful, you can be ANSI/ISO compliant.

There are a lot of proprietary features but the basic SQL syntax is Ansi
compliant to a degree as is with most dbms's.
