Database Structure Question

Using MS-SQL2000. I'm creating a Web form with 10 questions. Each question
can be answered by selecting one of 5 radio buttons (strongly agree, agree,
neutral, disagee, strongly disagree). Once all the questions are answered the

sys.Databases (state) = online does not meean ready and accessible?

Hi,
a database could have its Sys.Databases(State) = Online, yet, you may not
be able to access it.
for example, if you run : Use databaseName. you may get an error message
such as the database file is not accessible.

In general, in a Microsoft programming environment, does inclusion of a
timestamp field in a SQL Server table (2000 or 2005) automatically guarantee
concurrency checking in a multi-user environment?

getting default values of databases

I'm trying to know by system tables about the default values of my database.
I discovered that i can get it by using INFORMATION_SCHEMA.Columns, but this
view does not bring me id of table, schema, database ect...
