Error when I parse TSQL

sql server programming:

Everytime I try to parse SQL statement in SSMS I receive the following
error:
..Net SqlClient Data Provider: Msg 0, Level 11, State 0, Line 0
A severe error occurred on the current command. The results, if any,
should be discarded.

This happens to everyone in the company. It happens while connected
to SQL Server 2005 service pack 2 64 bit enterprise edition running on
windows 2003 enterprise with 32 gig as well as a machine setup the
same with the exception the the SQL Server 2005 is only on service
pack 1.
