newbie - How to merge snapshot from CD

sql server replication: I have read many references to performing an initial
snapshot merge from an alternate location like a CD, but
I am hard pressed to locate the procedure for doing so. I
cant seem to find a menu command or an option to point
the merge agent to an alternate location from which to
load the snapshot. any help would be appreciated.

Choose agent properties and then go to the Snapshot File
Locatin tab. There you can choose a folder from where the
snaphot will be applied.
