error cannot connect to distributor after DMZ installed -- sql server replication

Hi,
I am running merge and transaction replication on 2
SQL Server 2000 servers. All was working fine until a
DMZ was installed on the distributor server. Now the
merge replication still works, but the transaction
replication errors every time, cannot connect to
distributor. I can ping the distributor from this
server, but if I try to open the distributor thru
Enterprise Manager on this server, I keep getting error,
Connection to SQL Server is broken, do you want to try
reconnecting? Anyone have any help for me?

In your replication Monitor Folder in Enterprise Manager,
expand your replication agents folder, expand distribution
agents, right click on the distribution agent with the red
x on them. Select properties, click on steps, select run
agent, click on edit, and at the very end of the commands
type -LoginTimeOut 60

Restart your agent.
