SQL Server could not spawn process_loginread thread -- sql server replication

sql server replication : SQL Server could not spawn process_loginread thread

We're using Merge Replication with SQL Server 2000 SP3.

I'm getting alot of the following messages.

17120:
SQL Server could not spawn process_loginread thread.

Does anyone have an idea what this is related to?

This is more of a memory issue on the server rather than a merge
replication issue. Check to see if there are
other memory related errors in the SQL Server log.
