Error Occurs when using the Replication wizard

sql server replication: After using the Create Publication wizard to set up a
publication. When the Finish button is clicked, the
following error message is received:

"SQL Server Enterprise Manager could not creat
publication 'Name' From database 'database name'.

Error 14294: Suppy either @job_id or @job_name to identify
the job.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
