sql server replication:

SQL2000 transact replication. immedate updating
subscibers.

If I try to modify a table at the subscriber, I get the
message that it
"can't connect to the publisher because 'sa' is not
defined as a remote login".

Whew...

any help appreciated.

Just answered your other one because I think it is due to this.

Look in BOL under the"remote loging mapping" section. It has two areas with
more info "Establishing Security for Remote Servers" and "sp_addremotelogin"
