sql server replication:
I am creating a transformation package from the Enterprise

vertical and horizontal filtering. The transformation

Hi David,

Yes, there is a log to show the error information with the package. We can
see the Error file option in the logging tab in the Package Properties
dialog. Error file specifies the name of the file where package and step
status and error information will be written. This file will contain a list
of the steps not executed, in addition to the steps that were executed and
their result. The file can be on a local drive or on a mapped drive. If the
file does not exist at package run time, the file will be created. The file
does not have a default extension assigned to it; you must put the
extension on the file name. The most common extension is .txt. Please show
me the error message which you get from the error log file.

Also, what is the version of SQL Server (Service Pack)? I am not sure how
this error occurs?
1. What is the type of replication?
2. Could you provide more detailed information to describe the process of
the package configuration?
3. What do you mean by " When the transformation wizard ends, I receive the
message: The Enterprise Manager could not complete this operation."? Please
provide the screen shot to explain. You can send it at
v-yshao@microsoft.com.

I am standing by for your response.
