sql server replication:
My customer asked me to evaluate if it will be better to work throught
terminal server or connecting the remote computer with ODBC to the server or
using terminal server, in order to get rid of all the problems that
replication has. He is tire and sick of us saying that the replications
stoped or there are conflicts and so forth.

I'm moving our systems to a hosted environment and have both remote desktop
and sql ports opened through the firewalls. Using EM to access a remote
server I find is often enough, but for some issues you'll want to use system
monitor and check the windows event log, so I'd recommend terminal services
as a first choice. I also find that it's quicker through terminal services.
