Hey Chris,
You can do log shipping with SQL Light Speed. I'm
presently doing it with the built in Microsoft version but
hope to move to Light Speed because it compresses the
tlogs and thus reduces network traffic substancially. Also
light speed allows you to compress your full backups and
does them a lot quicker then the built in backup program.
I don't know how much it costs, I don't think it's more
then two grand though.

I just checked it out but it doesnt say anything about having Log Shipping
capabilities. Only backup and restore. I know thats basically all log
shipping is, but what about the "make this one the primary" features of
regular LS?
