sql server replication: The subscriptions has been marked inactive and must be reinitialized. No Sync
subscriptions will need to be dropped and recreated. The step failed.

Hi all, i am seeing this message in the Distribution job history,
Distribution agent failed.

please advise me, how to resolve this issue.

Expand your published database, expand the publications folder. Locate your
publication, right click on it, and select reinitialize all susbcriptions.

Then expand Replication Monitor, expand agents, expand snapshot agents,
location the snapshot agent that corresponds to your publication, right
click on it and select start agent.

Then start up your distribution agents (if you have to) when your snapshot
agent has completed.
