sql server replication:
Hi

I have a SQl databse on a web hosting server, and I have the databse locally
on one machine, I'd like to know if I can synchronize the data between the
two server.

In other term, I want the data locally to be updated every day, with the
data in the web hosting server

I doubt that replication will be possible. Getting the ISP to open up the
SQL and FTP ports is unlikely, as is a VPN. If this is the case then you can
use backup, FTP, copy and restore and locally use DTS to copy out the data.
If it is yourself or your company who are doing the hosting then replication
(transactional in this case) is definitely doable - have a look at this
article: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=321822 and my article on
www.replicationanswers.com for more details.

Many ISPs do support replication. Maximumasp.com is one.
