Setting Up the Distributer Mia

sql server replication: Hello,
I am logged on my machine as my own user id and password.
I connection to two other machines Server1 and Server2,
both have there own user id's and passwords to start and
stop the SQL and Agent Services, I am an administrator on
both machines.

My problem is I cannot start up the distributer as every
time I put in a folder name (which I do have permission
to) it says the the directory name is not a valid path, or
it refers to a file instead of a folder.

Can anyone help ?

Thanks

Try seeing the share folder from another computer, verify you have access,
and copy that exact link to the distribuitor field. Most of the time you'll
find out it is a matter of access/rights.

What are you using as the path - can you try sharing the
repldata folder and enter the path in the form
\\computername\repldata and see if that works.
