Contantly there seems to be a blocking issue between the distribution agent,
the log agent, and the distribution clean up agent.
This will eventually cause one of the agents to shut down (the log agent).
What can I do to elevate this situation and why is it happening?

If the logreader stops (separate distributor server from publihser) and
cannot connect to the publisher for - let's say - 4 hours, is that data lost
or will the transactions to be replication still be in the tlog? and
replication will catch up - in total (including the 4 hours down)?

is ok except the transaction log growth continuously. Every time I truncate
the transaction log, the lof shipping would be stopped and I need to run the

I added the NOT FOR REPLICATION option to my update trigger at the pub &
subsr, I update a row and the thing is still firing. I am certain because my
distr agent fails with an err message pointing to sql syntax only found in
