sql server replication : SQL 2005 Distribution DB not visable

It shows up on my server. can you issue the following and see what they say?

sp_helpdistributiondb

GO

sp_helpdistributor

Folks,

I have configured replication for SQL 2005 Enteprise Edition today and all
works fine but the Distribution DB is not shown in System Databases or User
Databases.

Is this by design because the old Task pad feature in SQL 2000 was great to
see if you have issues with the replication process.
