sql server replication : Merge Replication between Sql 200 and SqlExpress 2005

I setup a merger replication publisher/distributor on the sql server 2000.
The users with pc have sql express 2005 loaded. When i set the subscriber
through the wizard on the sql express i get the following error:

Error:
For merge publications, the version of the subscriber must not exceed the
version of the publisher.

My question is, is it possible to have SqlExpress 2005 to subscribe to sql
2000 published replication?.

Also i need help as how setup a FTP pull of data fro merge replication?

a Subscriber to a merge publication can be any version no later than the
Publisher version

So you need to upgrade your publisher.
