Is Mirroring only on SQL SERVER 2005 Enterprise Version possible or
also in the standard Version.(REDO Thread ??)
Is the Service Pack 1 for SQL Server 2005 available.

Database Mirroring is only available in the Standard, Developer and
Enterprise editions of SQL Server 2005 (using the unsupported trace flag
1400). These are the required versions for both the principal and mirror
instances of SQL Server. The witness server can run on any version of SQL
Server.

The witness can run on any edition of SQL Server 2005. But it has to be the
2005 version.

No, SP1 is not available yet. It is still in beta testing.
