Hy Hilary,

we did it already with port 1433 but for replication we need a published
share for the replication scripts? or can we do it only with port 1433 - we
dont like to communicate with vpn client software

My understanding is the isa server does provide vpn services, so yes you
can, and it could be done via ports 1433 and the netbios ports.

You can also use ftp - will this work for you? You should be able to map a
drive across the vpn as well.

hy hilary,

we tried with ftp and the normal publishing with isa server works fine when
you use ie-browser.

If our client tries to connect the software takes the cifs-ports and not the
ftp-port so the isa server denies it and sync is not possible.
