sql server replication:

We have laptops using MSDE to synch with SQL 2000. We plan to move to 2005
and Express. We are using Merge replication and the laptops are anonymous
subscribers. In 2000 we setup the anonymous subscribers from Windows
Synchronization Manager by specifying the publication and subscription
information manually. Can we do this the same for SQL 2005 and Express? I
think I read where this was not available in 2005. If so, what do I use to
create and synch with publisher on 2005? Thanks.

Yes, but anonymous subscriptions have been deprecated. So set it up as a
normal subscription.
