sql server replication : Server is not a subscriber

Hi,

I have a SQL2005SP1 publushed database with 4 merge subscribers, everything
has been running just fine for month now. Yesterday two of the subscribers
stopped merging. This happened when I installed Reporting Services on the
publisher.
From Management Studio, if I right click on one of the problem subscriptions
and choose 'View Synchronisation Status' the dialog box that comes up gives a
Last status message of "The server 'ROSELLA' is not a Subscriber. (.Net
SqlClient Data Provider).
If I then click on the Start button I receive 'The agent could not be
started', 'Cannot find a merge agent job for the specified merge push
subscription. Changed database context to 'Workbench'. (Microsoft SQL
Server, Error: 21847)'
If I look at Agent Job Activity I see that there are jobs executing for all
the four subscribers.
How do I get replication happening again? My user will be very sad if they
lose the changes they have made.

It sounds like that agents are working fine, but Replication Monitor is
reporting an error. This sounds like a bug. Can you try to reapply SP1?
