sql server replication:
I develop Applications for mobile laptop users, using Access databases.
They never see a LAN, and therefore only way to exchange data is the
internet.
Until now I have used Access internet indirect replication,
unfortunate Is Access not as robust and stable as wanted.

Question, is it possible to do Internet replication with an SQL server?
If yes, does anyone have experiences that could tell if SQL SERVER is a
better solution?

I haven't used Access replication so can't really comment, but SQL Server
replication over the internet is indeed possible. Please look at these links
for detailed info:
http://www.replicationanswers.com/InternetArticle.asp
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=321822
http://www.dbazine.com/sql/sql-articles/cotter4
Also, if you are using SQL Server 2005, BOL has a lot of details on merge
over HTTPS.

Yes, it is possible to replicate over the internet using SQL Server. I have
used Access replication as well, and it doesn't scale well. SQL does.
