Error 21074 Kolos
9/6/2006 5:36:02 AM
Hi All,

I am trying to setup Transactinal replication but always receive the same
error messages; 21074: The subscription has been marked inactive and must be
reinitialized at the Publisher. I did it but in vain. Moreover when I try to
create a new subscription clicking on 'Push New Subscription' the
subscription is not created but I do not receive an error message. the
created subscription cannot be seen on either servers.
Does anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

This error can also be caused by the subscriber being unable to access the
snapshot share. An easy way to fix it is to generate the snapshot, copy the
entire folder structure from repldata on up to the subscriber than the use
the download the snapshot files from an alternate location.
