Replication Log Reader Agent

sql server replication: Log Reader Agent failed with error message "Step did not return any output".
The errorlog states that " Could not connect to server 'GSPCVDB02' because
'distributor_admin' is not defined as a remote login at the server."
I obviously have a linked or remote server problem but cannot determine from
the error where the problem is.
