sql server replication: Hi everyone,

In the SQL2005 SP2 readme file says that to install in a replication
topology (merge) it has to be done in the following order:
1.. Distributor
2.. Publisher
3.. Subscribers
I have a single server acting as publisher/distributor and around 19
subscribers (merge replication - everything SQL2005 SP1 Standard Edition).

I would assume I can install the service pack in my publisher/distributor
and resume replication.

Then, gradually, over a few days I can install the service pack in the
subscribers (one by one). While doing that I intend to keep replication
going.

Is that supposed to work? Has somebody tested it?

Thanks for the feedback, José Araujo.

That's the way it works for us.
