sql server replication : sql server registration

I knew that sql server replication does not support (local) as a server name.
The solution is to delete the current registration and create the new one
with the actual server name. But, i wonder if I delete the current server
registration, will all the jobs, DTS etc. that have been set up deleted as

No, it only affects the registration and sysservers. DTS packages will
continue to run fine.
