Using Custom Assemblies inside a Matrix -- sql server reporting services

Hi.
I would like to know if someone tried to call a custom assembly function
from inside a matrix and have it worked...coz i tried and it didn't
On the other hand, i called the same function from a field outside the
matrix and it worked.
is there a way to solve this issue?
i need it urgently

It's me again
i found the problem and fixed it.
i had already designed a format in the properties of the cell and it
overwrited the function i was calling.
when i removed the predefined format it worked.
