sql server reporting services : Logon Error for Reporting Services
rarely go to the reporting site, so I'm not 100% sure when the error started occuring. Basically when I go to the Home Report site I see Microsoft Operations Manager. I click on that and it takes me to all the possible report types. I can click on any one of those (IIS, SQL, etc.) and then I see all the possible reports available. But when I click on one of these to actually generate a report I get the following error: An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted) Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password. And I see a logon error for my username in the Event Viewer with the same sort of unknown username or bad password. Where is this set? I'm definitely a valid user and it's worked in the past. I also tried to use rsconfig too. But this didn't seem to fix the problem. Thanks in adavance! Bill
You know, I had a similar issue but I may be wrong. Check to see if you have

Yep...I do have it checked. And it seems like it is coming across as my
account based on the fact the event viewer logs show my username and password as a failed logon. Thanks though. :) Anyone with any other ideas? As an added bit of info I have two servers that are experiencing the exact same problem. Just as an FYI, I figured it out. It was the SCDW data source that it used.
Instead of being setup to use Integrated Windows Authentication it was setup to use my credentials. So it really wasn't passing my credentials because I was the user trying to access the report, but rather because that was the account setup to access the reports. Since my password changed some time back, this explains it. It now works. Please do not make the SCDW datasource use Integrated Windows
Authentocation. Instead use a specific user name and password as before. Thos way you can schedule reports and create subscriptions.
