Word rendering... WHEN?

sql server reporting services: UIs it true thatr microsoft has no plans to create word rendering
extension?, I cant believe they wont support their own propietary format,
even when tehy support PDF, even rtf would do the trick, Is there some one
who can tell me if we are to expect that feature in the final release of sql
server 2005? or when to expect it? if we are to expec it at all that is.

Right now, it is not scheduled for SQL 2005. It is a lot of work and we
don't want to introduce a new rendering extension without the ability to get
it right. Fortunately, we can add new extensions without changing the
server.
