rskeymgmt error (local NT service is disabled) -- sql server reporting services

hello,

I am trying to install the full versinon of reporting services. When I try
to backup the symmetric key using RSKeyMgmt.exe it gives the error :

"System.Exception: The local NT Service is disabled 0x80090005 --->
System.E
xception: 0x80090005
--- End of inner exception stack trace ---
at Microsoft.ReportingServices.RSKeyMgmt.RSKeyMgmt.InstanceMain()
at Microsoft.ReportingServices.BaseCmdLine.CommandLineMain(String[] args,

eCmdLine instance)"

does anyone have any idea about this ?

I had the same error ...for some reason.
However, by removing the key the problem is fixed!!
Try to run this line: rskeymgmt -r InstallationID
** You can find the InstallationID in the RSReportServer.config file
