I had a similiar issue with charts not showing up and drilling not working.
It worked prior to the SP1. I found that Internet Explorer was blocking
cookies from the web site. Once I allowed the cookies from the report
server, both worked fine. Hopefully this solution will also work for your
problem.

The problem is not the Cookies, in the SP1 of Reporting Services the issue
can't be resolved, if you test the reports of SQL Server BPA the Images don't
functionally correctly.
