sql server reporting services : Installing SP1

Hello,

I would appreciate some help into my problem with the
install of SP1 on my Win2K machine.

The popup error says:"SQL setup failed to connect to te
database service for server configuration." And in the
error logs:"[Resource Error] We were unable to load the
resource: IDS_PROPERTIES."

I did have issues during the initial install of Reporting
Services itself. I had to change the .ini file and run the
install with this for it to work.

Is there a similar trick that I can do to successfully
install SP1. I have tried installing the command line
option, but nothing happens when I run the command.

This error occurs when setup can't talk to the DB. The user running SP1
setup must have sa privileges on the SQL server DB. You can also use sql
auth during setup as outlined in the readme.
