How to Hide a paramater textbox or combo ? -- sql server reporting services

I wish to pass one of the parameters to my report from the URL
annnnddddd I dont want a textbox showing up when the report renders.
This means I dont want the user to give that parameter value. The
question is how do i make a parameter prompt (textbox or combo) on the
report invisible or unavailable to the end user ?

On the RS server, verify the prompt user checkbox is checked and clear any
text in the prompt string field. Note you must have SP1 installed for this
to work properly.
