sql server reporting services : Timed subscription does not result in file creation on file share.

I have created a timed subscription for a report that has an embedded
connection and runs fine in Report Manager. It is supposed to export to a
file share. However, the subscription never results in a file being created.
The job is running successfully in SQL Agent and no entries are added to
ReportServerService_{Date}.log file. The job creates entries in the Event
table, but they seem to sit there forever. I have checked the ReportServer
service and restarted it using different accounts including local admin
accounts. I have started also restarted SQL Agent and SQL Server using a
local admin account rather than the system account.

I show the same behavior using SLQ 2005 Beta on a different server.

OK. So I am up and running with subscriptions in Yukon. This is because Yukon
provided better error messaging in the user interface and pointed me to an
embedded authentication issue. However, still no luck with my SQL 2000 RS
server.

The issue is resolved. I turned on verbose logging which provided a
meaningful error message. The issue was with the account the service was
running under.
